Casa Mapache Hotel - Tamarindo

This hotel was a hidden gem! Despite a bumpy road to get there, once we arrived, we were immediately enchanted by the beautiful surroundings. The rooms, nestled in a stunning garden, were spacious and comfortable, with a huge pretty bathroom to top it off. The attention to detail was evident throughout, and the breakfast, included in the stay, was a delicious blend of Costa Rican flavors. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to a variety of beaches and restaurants in the area.

No improvements necessary - everything was perfect!

Casa Mapache Tamarindo is a hidden gem that offers excellent value for money. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the nearby beach towns in the Tamarindo area, as it is just a short distance away from all the best beaches and restaurants. Additionally, the staff provide top-notch service and the basic amenities are well-maintained. One standout feature is the delicious breakfast included in the stay, which offers a taste of Costa Rican flavors with homemade breads and jams made by the attentive owners.

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with beautiful decor and a huge pretty bathroom. The basic amenities provided were more than enough and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was a delightful experience with Costa Rican flavors that truly satisfied my taste buds. Additionally, the location of the hotel was superb! It was conveniently situated in close proximity to all the best beaches around Tamarindo, making it easy to explore nearby beach towns and enjoy the stunning coastal views.

I had an amazing stay at Casa Mapache. The lush garden and generous pool right outside my room made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise. The French breakfast with homemade jams and freshly baked bread was a delicious highlight every morning. Stephanie, the hostess, was helpful, providing us with great recommendations for the best beaches and places to visit. The location was perfect, great to easily explore the beautiful beaches around Tamarindo. I can't wait to come back and experience the family atmosphere at Casa Mapache again! I highly recommend this really good guesthouse.

Casa Mapache in Tamarindo was a good stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with clean bedding and thick towels. The breakfast served on the outdoor patio was delicious, with fresh fruit and homemade jams. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The hotel was well-maintained, with beautiful grounds and a lovely pool.

The breakfast was decent and the pool was enjoyable. The location was convenient and accessible to many tourist attractions. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms.

The owner was too involved in my stay and his manner was unsettling. The bugs were overwhelming and caused discomfort throughout my trip.

This hotel offers a unique experience like being in a secret garden which is surrounded by nature. You can easily access the best beaches and restaurants. Rooms are decorated carefully, very comfortable, and have all you need including mosquito nets. the bathrooms have fluffy and large towels. the breakfast is freshly made with handmade bread, jams, cakes, and fresh juice. the pool is large and refreshing, and the owner is friendly and helpful in giving recommendations about places to visit.

There was no common kitchen facility available, which would have been helpful for preparing dinner.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay! The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious with freshly baked French bread. The swimming pool is lovely and the communal area is very pleasant. the location is perfect for visiting Play Conchal and Play Tamarindo, with great access to all the best beaches around Tamarindo in a very short distance.
